FIRST DOWN STRAW is a race winner from a limited number of starts. He ran a 92 speed index into a 16 mph head wind to win at Ruidoso but his career was cut short by an injury to his hip. You would be hard pressed to find a better bred stallion with his size, mind, & conformation. His dam FIRST PRIZE DASH was Broodmare of the Year in 2006 and has only continued to add stakes winners to her catalog page. There isn’t a better bottom side around then FIRST PRIZE DASH who is the only full sister to All-Time Leading Sire FIRST DOWN DASH. This stallion has it all and he is passing it on to his foals. Some leading breeders in the Quarter Horse industry have said his foals are as nice as any they have seen.
